Change the curriculum and you can change humanity.
K-12 is basically programming for the rest of your days. You wake up and go do something you don't really want to do for 8 hours. You are subjected to assholes and rules and regulations and forced to sit down all damn day. You are at some point forced to change into smelly gym clothes and run around doing something else against your will. Maybe you don't want to run around in a circle at 9 a.m. or maybe you don't want to do it at 2 pm either or run around at all. maybe you prefer to do your running around at 9pm instead. Who knows? All i do know is that it's programming you for the rest of your life. Seems to me that while you are there they could at least teach you something helpful. Maybe we should renovate the curriculum so that our youth can save the world or at least have a chance at it. Instead of teaching all the useless programming they give us 5 days a week let's have 3 days out of the week where instead of teaching some fictionalized and fabricated history lets teach gardening. Let's teach self sustenance and self governance. Let's teach about plants and their medicinal qualities. let's teach about renewable energy forms. Let's teach how to build things. Build homes that are solar powered and off the grid. That right there would save the world and humanity. Instead of kids coming out of school and going into another 5-10 years of higher education just to go work in a low paying job that doesn't cover the food and lights of their household. How's about this. They leave high school knowing every thing they need to be self sufficient. How to build a home off the grid and grow your own food and make your own medicines and read books instead of sitting like a zombie all night in front of the advertisements on tv. There is no worrying about how to pay for food if you grow your own and no worrying about heat and lights if you are using solar panels. Why are we programming our kids with lies and debt and seeking beyond themselves for the answers.?
