Citizen Bailout Package/ Trickle Up Economics
Why not give everyone in America a million dollars? This is a stupifyingly simple solution to our economic problems. How much would that be , 300 million dollars? We could insist that folks pay off their mortgages and debts with the money prior to just blowing it at the casino. The money could trickle up to the bankers and our debts would be taken care of. What is happening right now is bankers and corporations getting bailouts and the money just goes to them to supposedly cover debts that are not being paid by consumers. ya know what? Just because the banks are getting this money does not mean they are going to wipe the slate clean and let us go. The government is paying our debts for us and the banks are getting the payment but not taking us off the books. If everyone in this country got a million dollars I'd say most of us would pay our debts, pay off our "bad" mortgages (whose fault is that?) Bad mortgages, the people that make commissions on the paper, they are the ones allowing people that have low income to buy $300, ooo homes, people that have bad credit histories. If i loan you money and you never pay me back are you going to loan me more? NO! If i ask you for $300,000. dontcha think you should check me out and see if there is any chance of me ever being able to pay off that amount of money? So, Why give the banks money for bad judgement.Anyway, getting back to the citizens bailout plan...everybody would pay their property off and most people would even hire someone to fix something, painting, plumbing, an addition a new bathroom or kitchen, landscaping or maybe some poor person could actually buy a home. This creates jobs! People after paying off their debts are going to hire folks, JOBS! People are going to go buy things, things that are made by other people, JOBS! There will be demand to be met and that creates more jobs. I don't see how this idea could possibly go wrong. Bail out the citizens!!!!
